Eilat park & play

The evacuation of the airport in Eilat presents a major opportunity for the city to unite the "urban buffer". However, the construction process of the area could result in an abandoned site, despite high expectations for the area. To address this issue, the Eilat Municipality has developed a Temporary Use Plan using a combination of economic, legal, community, marketing, urban and architectural tools. The plan aims to transform the evacuated airport into a central urban park, connecting the residents' "elite city" with the "tourist city".
